A note from Shannon:

With 18 years experience in private practice, I primarily work with late adults and couples. I am the Owner and Supervisor of this great group of clinicians. I also provide support and supervision to upcoming MSW students and graduates preparing to sit for the LCSW board. I help individuals with various challenges such as anxiety, trauma, depression, marital discord, divorce, coparenting, and grief. I provide clients with insight oriented work to help them understand the cause of their symptoms along with cognitive behavioral strategies to change behaviors and thought patterns to promote mental health. I integrate my psychoanalytic clinical training with cognitive strategies that help individuals overcome the symptoms that interfere with their overall happiness. I am conservative in regards to referring for medication. I can provide referrals for medication management when indicated.

My Approach:

My approach is collaborative and conversational rooted in psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral and attachment theory with a deep interest in your healing and advancement. Applying an integrative approach, utilizing trauma-informed modalities, I strive to provide clients with genuine and warm therapeutic care through understanding each person in the context of their own unique culture, values, and life experiences. Your story matters, and I am privileged to work alongside you as you uncover its hidden depths of self-discovery.
