I work with adults on an individual, couple, or family basis. Having experience with both clinical and medical social work has provided me the ability to help and guide others through empathy and education. I specialize in anxiety, depression, chronic illness, addiction, loss and grief, and relationship issues. I also can assist with body image and eating disorders as well as career coaching and daily life skills. As a clinical supervisor in a Methadone Treatment Program I’ve had a unique insight on the opiate crisis. I can offer my expertise to the individual recovering and their loved ones. I have spent extensive hours both Oncology and Dialysis units. Supporting people with Cancer and Kidney Disease has provided me a versatility to manage various types of medical conditions with comorbid mental health challenges. Supervision for pre-licensed and post licensed clinicians in state of CT to ultimately attain the LCSW. The most important quality of effective therapy is trust which is build through unconditional empathy. I believe everyone should have a place to sit without judgement or criticism. Therapy is only as good as the relationship between the client and the therapist. For me, establishing your trust is my highest priortiy to create a strong therapeutic relationship to foster your growth and healting to achieve your greatest potential. I am highly dedicated to your success.

My Approach:

My approach is generalist which means that I incorporate various psychologicall orientations including but not limited to psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioral theory, attachement theory and relational theory. My work is trauma informed and I find it most important to meet my clients where they are at and help them gain the insight into what they desire for their life and then foster the environment to create the healing and growth to attain their goals. I approach each client with the utmost respect and kindness for the struggles they are facing and utilize motivational interviewing and strengths perspective to help them believe in themselves to attain their goals. I feel honored by all of my clients for allowing me the privilege to walk with them through their healing journey.
