What should I expect when I call or email the office for an initial appointment?
After you contact us, we will set up a free 15-minute initial consultation by phone. During this 15-minutes, feel free to share as little or as much as you want about what’s bringing you to treatment and ask any questions about the process you may have. If it feels like a match between you and the clinician, you will schedule an initial assessment.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we accept the following insurance providers:
- United Healthcare | Connecticare | Optum
- Anthem BlueCross and BlueShield
- Husky | Medicaid | Medicare
- Cigna | Aetna | HNE*
- Self Pay
If you provider is not listed above, please note we also take HSA/FSA and self pay. If we are an out of network provider, we will provide a super bill for the cost of the session to go toward the deductible (amount allowed is determined by insurance). Feel free to contact our team if you have any specific insurance related questions or concerns.
Do you offer teletherapy?
Yes, we offer both in person and virtual sessions at a time of day that’s most convenient for you.
How much do you charge per session?
Our pricing is as follows:
- Initial 15-minute consultation- Free
- Diagnostic Assessment – $125 – $250
- 50 minute Individual Therapy Session – $100 – $225
- Community/ Collaboration Meetings (hourly rate) $100- $200/hour
- Additional Administrative Requests – Case-by-case basis
How long will I need to attend therapy?
The course of your therapy is completely determined by you. You and your therapist will determine your therapy treatment goals and establish an appropriate timeline to achieve your personal objectives. We want you to feel safe to know you can pause or discontinue treatment at any time.
What can I expect during my first session?
During the initial assessment session, your clinician will gather a brief summary of your family of origin, occupational and educational history, relationship dynamics within the family, your presenting problem, treatment history, diagnostic history, current symptoms, and any current medication. Referrals for medication or additional medical services may be provided when indicated.
