Shannon A. Stauffer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist practicing in Suffield, CT, with 18 years of experience. Specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and divorce, she integrates her psychoanalytic clinical training with cognitive behavioral therapeutic strategies to aid the healing and coping in adults and couples. Shannon is conservative about medication referrals but will provide them when clinically indicated. She offers in-person and online therapy and accepts various insurances.

Psychological Health of Suffield Center was founded to make mental health service with quality providers accessible and simple. Founded by Shannon Ayotte Stauffer in 2000, the practice is dedicated to help people overcome obstacles and empower them to live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. We specialize in substance use and general mental health for adults and teens, and we focus on providing compassionate care while teaching skills and techniques to manage challenges.
